Recovery & Rehab Strength Training Plan

This science-based strength rehab programme focuses on regaining skill, strength, and function through balanced recovery and a blend of ancient and modern practices, including low-intensity training, bodyweight and resistance band exercises, and key powerlifting movements. The workouts are divided into push, pull, and lower body sessions to enhance movement patterns and neurological efficiency, inspired by the foundational principles of powerlifting for safe, effective strength building.

Base Strength Training Plan

The Base Strength Training Plan, the second edition of the macrocycle, maintains biomechanical consistency with separate 'push,' 'pull,' and 'lower body' sessions to enhance functional movements and neurological efficiency. This mesocycle includes eight weekly sessions: three strength workouts to rebuild muscle durability, four low-intensity endurance sessions to build aerobic base, and one Strongman session for increased work capacity. As training volume rises and intensity stays low, careful scheduling and recovery, including sleep and rest, become crucial due to the increased two-a-day sessions.

Build Strength Training Plan

The Build Strength Training Plan, the third edition in this macrocycle, focuses on developing Specific Physical Preparedness by prioritizing speed, strength, and sport-specific needs. Eliminate any training elements that don't directly contribute to your goals. Intensity increases, so meticulous recovery, including activating the parasympathetic nervous system and prioritizing sleep, is crucial. Proper scheduling and rest are essential to maximize physiological adaptations and avoid diluting training effectiveness. For personalized assistance, contact us.
