Welcome to my coaching journey! I’m Chris Hill, and I’m excited to share my passion for fitness, endurance sports, and holistic well-being with you. As an experienced coach and athlete, my mission is to guide you towards achieving your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out or are a seasoned athlete aiming to push your limits.

My Journey

 

My path to becoming a coach has been anything but conventional. It began with a deep-seated desire to make a difference, which evolved into a passion for coaching. Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in various disciplines, from strength & conditioning, rehabilitation, sports massage, to multiple Ironman triathlons and various ultra-endurance events. This diverse experience has not only developed me as a human being but also sharpened my skills as a Coach. My journey so far has given me a profound understanding of what it takes to excel and stay motivated, even during the hardest of times.

My Instagram features a mixture of motivational posts, training tips, and personal updates, while my YouTube channel offers in-depth content on my journey as an athlete, recovery strategies, training techniques / classes, and the fundraising challenges that I have undertaken, such as; becoming the first person to complete all 7 of the Ironman events in the UK & Ireland in one season (2024), and my most recent challenge; The Continuous Triple: a continuous triple Ironman triathlon, a 7.2 mile swim, 336 mile bike, followed by a 78 mile run.

 

These platforms reflect my commitment to providing valuable insights and support to athletes at all levels.

Coaching Philosophy

 

My coaching philosophy is built on three core principles: personalisation, progression, and perseverance.

Personalisation: I believe that every athlete is unique, and their training programme should reflect that. Whether you’re preparing for your first 5k run, an Ironman, or simply looking to improve your overall fitness, I design programmes that are challenging yet achievable and sustainable.

Progression: Progress is a journey, not a destination. My training programmes are designed with a progressive approach, ensuring that you build on your strengths while continuously challenging yourself. This method helps in achieving long-term success and prevents plateaus.

Perseverance: Overcoming obstacles and pushing through challenges are essential aspects of any fitness journey. I’m here to motivate and guide you through the ups and downs, providing the support and encouragement needed to keep you moving forward.

 

Athletic Highlights

  • Guiness World Record for "Most Half Marathon's in a Month - Male" - 36 Half Marathons - May 2020

  • Completed All of the Ironman races in UK & Ireland in 2023 whilst wearing a 10kg weighted vest & carrying a flag for the mental health charity Rock 2 Recovery UK 2023

  • Completed a Continuous Triple Ironman Triathlon in July 2024, fundraising for the RNLI

  • 6 x IRONMAN Finisher

  • Multiple Ultramarathon Runner

  • Marathon Open Water Swimmer.
